A NEW AND SUCCESFUL EDITION OF OUR SUMMER COURSE: 6 YEARS!!

Being the director of the summer school, I, at the platform of ILÊWASI, an NGO based in Castellon, Spain, organised the 6th International Summer School on Peace Education and Child Rights (Program MARC) on 16-20 July 2018, in Castellon (Spain). The School has been organising since 2011 to promote, and create awareness about Peace Education, Mediation and Child Rights amongst University students, early career research, as well as professional scholars of the relevant area. Additionally, every year the summer school addresses a focused theme. for 2018,  " Sustainable Development Goals" was the theme for the school. Where, not only the seminar lectures are part of the school, but the school also thrilled with the extra-curricular activities such as Yoga on the beach, trekking along the Mediterranean sea, inter-cultural nights, and night hangouts. 

 

I brought up the idea of Business for Peace, linking up SDG no. 16, and 17 together in my presentation. Focused was the promotion of UN Global Compact campaign.

La sexta edición del curso de Verano sobre la Educación la Paz, Mediación y lxs Derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes (PROGRA MARC) fue organizada por mi e ILEWASI, una ONG de Castellon en Castellon, España en 16-20 Julio 2018. hace 6 años que organizamos el curso y cada año con un tema específico:  este año tuvimos los ODS de Naciones Unidades.

 Las imágenes del curso del Verano la edición Sexta organizado con mucho éxito en16-20 de julio 2018. Agradezco mucho a todas las personas que participaron en el curso como asistentes, ponentes, voluntarios/as, y los invitados especiales H.E. el Embajador de Pakistan, Vice-rector UJI y al Ayuntamiento de Castellón, así como a Mar Valero, representante de la Oficina de Cooperación y Desarrollo Social (OCDS) y nuestra Presidenta, Begoña Ramos. Ahora Vamos a por la VII edición en 2019, el año que viene.
