Un mes más, seguimos con nuestro proyecto solidario enmarcado en el Cuerpo Europeo de Solidaridad cuyo título es FILOPAZ - FILOSOFÍA PARA NIÑAS Y NIÑOS.
Este mes pasado de febrero hemos tenido algún cambio en nuestro equipo de jóvenes. Fernando Velo nos deja por un proyecto de vida personal lejos de Castellón en el que esperamos que le vaya genial (aunque sigue siendo parte de ILÊWASI) por ello, Eva Gallego se nos une en este proyecto, en su lugar, con muchas ganas y mucho que aportar al equipo.
Durante este tiempo hemos implementado dos actividades nuevas,
La primera actividad fue un vídeo titulado El cazo de Lorenzo, vídeo que trata sobre la discapacidad y cómo afrontarla y aceptarla.
Tras ver el vídeo y hacer como siempre los dos pequeños grupos y una pregunta sobre el vídeo surgieron diversos temas de debate y diferentes ideas acerca del vídeo en el grupo de indagación. Se debatió acerca del racismo, de la discapacidad, de las enfermedades mentales como la depresión y de como hay que aceptar cada una de estas situaciones sin que importe lo que digas o hagan los demás y también hay que tolerar y no juzgar las cosas diferentes en el resto de personas para que no se sientan mal.
La segunda actividad fue enseñarles una frase del filósofo francés Michel de Montaigne y realizar el mismo procedimiento que en las demás actividades. La frase fue la siguiente: La pobreza de bienes es fácilmente remediable, más la del alma es irreparable.
Esta actividad resultó algo más complicada para las niñas y niños de los diferentes colegios, se centraron más en la parte material que en la del alma, aunque salieron reflexiones muy interesantes. Se debatió acerca de las diferentes ideas de pobreza que tienen, como que en España no hay pobreza, que hay diferentes niveles, como la gente que llega justa a fin de mes, la gente que no llega y la gente que vive en la calle y pide dinero. Se acabó hablando de las minas de coltán en África y de la pobreza de esas zonas.
Aunque también se habló de que por mucho dinero y muchas cosas materiales que poseas, si no tienes el amor de tu familia y gente con la que compartir todo esto, nunca llegarás a ser feliz.

Como podemos ver, las niñas y niños tienen una increíble capacidad de razonamiento y muy buenas ideas con las que debatir sobre asuntos muy importantes. Así que una cosa muy importante es tenerles en cuenta para muchas más cosas y que se sientan parte de la sociedad y de decisiones que también les afecta.

One more month, we continue with our solidarity project framed in the European Solidarity Corps whose title is FILOPAZ - PHILOSOPHY FOR GIRLS AND BOYS.
This past February we have had some changes in our youth team. Fernando Velo leaves us for a personal life project, in which we hope he will do great, but Eva Gallego joins us to the project with a lot of desire and a lot to contribute to the team.
During this time we have implemented two new activities,
The first activity was a video entitled El cazo de Lorenzo, a video that deals with disability and how to face and accept it.
After watching the video and asking as usual the two small groups and a question about the video various topics of discussion and different ideas about the video emerged in the inquiry group. It was discussed about racism, disability, mental illnesses such as depression and how to accept each of these situations regardless of what you say or do others and also have to tolerate and not judge different things in other people so that they do not feel bad.
The second activity was to teach them a phrase by the French philosopher Michel de Montaigne and perform the same procedure as in the other activities. The sentence was the following: Poverty of goods is easily remediable, but that of the soul is irreparable.
This activity turned out to be somewhat more complicated for the girls and boys of the different schools, they focused more on the material part than on the soul, although very interesting reflections came out. They discussed the different ideas of poverty they have, such as that there is no poverty in Spain, that there are different levels, such as people who arrive just at the end of the month, people who do not arrive and people who live on the street and ask for money. He ended up talking about the coltan mines in Africa and the poverty in those areas.
Although it was also said that no matter how much money and many material things you own, if you don't have the love of your family and people to share all this with, you will never be happy.

As we can see, girls and boys have an incredible reasoning ability and very good ideas with which to discuss very important issues. So a very important thing is to take them into account for many more things and that they feel part of society and decisions that also affects them.
